Public information
Under the Ticker publishes publicly available information.
What we cover includes assets, issuers and other organizations, tokens, contracts, and public records. We don't name people or add personal information about them to our list.
Information only
The information on this website is for information only. It isn’t legal, investment or tax advice. It isn’t an offer or recommendation, an opinion about who owns what, or an audit of the issuer. The information may be incomplete, wrong or out of date. Check it against the issuer’s own current documents. It also isn’t compliance or other professional advice, or a solicitation or endorsement to buy, sell, hold or use any asset or token. Information may also be delayed. Check the contract before acting.
Neutral descriptions
Our labels describe public information. For example, a label may say that a contract address was not found on any issuer's list.
A label isn't a judgment about anyone’s intent, honesty, conduct or legal responsibility. Absence from a list doesn't by itself establish fraud, counterfeiting or wrongdoing.
Corrections
If a record looks wrong or incomplete, use Send proof from that record and include a public link that supports the correction.
Sending proof doesn't guarantee a response, a particular timing, publication, removal or any other outcome.
Information you provide or that the service keeps
You don't need an account. Under the Ticker doesn't sell user data.
- Wallet checks: When you check a wallet, we keep the wallet address you entered, the contract checked, the result and the time of the check. You can choose to make a shareable link. Anyone with the link can see the result. Don't enter a wallet address or share a result link unless you're comfortable with that. You can delete the result before it expires. After 24 hours, the wallet check can no longer be opened. Its record is deleted soon after.
- Check cookie: A small cookie remembers the checks run from this browser in the last 24 hours. It contains check IDs, not wallet addresses, and is sent only to check pages. It expires after 24 hours or when the result is deleted.
- Recent searches: The browser may keep up to eight recent searches on that device. Each expires after 30 days and is deleted the next time the site is opened, or sooner when you clear it or clear the site’s browser storage.
- Unmatched searches: We may keep a standardized version of an unmatched search term or contract address for up to 90 days after it was last seen. This helps us spot gaps in what we cover. We may keep a daily summary of these terms for longer, without anything about who searched.
- Rate limits: We use a network address, or part of an IPv6 address, to count requests. Daily counters expire no later than 1 hour after that UTC day ends.
- Corrections: When you send a correction, we keep the answer, proof link, short quotation, email address or X handle you provide, submission time, status, and a one-way keyed hash of your network address. Corrections are private and kept for up to 12 months.
- Service logs: Technical logs may include a route, request method, response status, timing, error information, an unsuccessful search in a standard format, or a contract address involved in an error.
- X interactions: If you tag the Under the Ticker account on X, we may keep the public post and conversation IDs, your account ID and handle, the IDs of other accounts mentioned, the mention text, the query we understood, any proposed or posted reply, its status, and timestamps for up to 12 months. If you ask us to stop replying, we keep your account ID and handle until you ask us to resume.
Companies that help host and run Under the Ticker may process this information for us. Under the Ticker doesn't use advertising pixels or cross-site advertising trackers.
Except for a wallet address in a wallet-check result you choose to share, information you send as a correction or publish on X isn't added to our public list. We don't publish correction contact details or rate-limit identifiers.
